About Us

The maritimemarketing concept was created to satisfy a demand by small to medium sized Asian shipowners, for practical information (including international facts and trends) that could help them grow their business and increase their profits.

Founded by Ferdi Stolzenberg, a German born, Australian citizen who has been working in and around Asia since 1974 and has been a resident of Hong Kong since 1983.

Over the past 40 years, Ferdi has worked for large American advertising agencies in Australia and Hong Kong; started an automotive trade magazine in Australia; run his own PR/marketing consulting group in Australia and Hong Kong (since 1983) focusing on international investments, corporate finance and shipping; developed a niche trading business and since 1990 – has spent the last 16 years focusing his business efforts exclusively on the international maritime business.
